I grew up in the Coachella Valley and I’ve recently returned to La Quinta with my husband, 2 Afghan hounds, and a Shiba Inu. It’s good to be back!
I fell in love with the harp when I was 11-years-old, and began studying with Dominique Piana in Redlands. There was no question that I wanted to dedicate my life with the harp, and so I went on to receive a Bachelors of Music in Harp Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music, in Rochester, New York. While there, I studied with Kathleen Bride.
I’m a freelance harpist and take on various kinds of work including: orchestral, small ensemble groups, television, high-profile engagements, weddings, corporate events and much more. I feel that I am a very versatile musician and this allows me to adapt to various settings.
My orchestral experience includes:
Cal State University, Fullerton – Wind Symphony (CA)
Coachella Valley Symphony (CA)
Fullerton College Wind Symphony (CA)
Golden State Pops Orchestra (CA)
Orange County Wind Symphony (CA)

I have also been honored to perform with:
Andrea Bocelli . World-wide Classical Crossover Tenor
Connie Francis . 50’s American Pop Star
In August of 2012, I was booked to perform at a private event. It was a surprise to me that Grammy winner John Legend was in attendance and casually sang along while I played “Georgia on My Mind”.
One of my most interesting experiences was performing classical and popular music as a solo harpist aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 and the Queen Mary 2 luxury cruise liners. This is where I began arranging popular tunes for the harp. The newest arrangements that I have enjoyed performing are “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey and “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica.
It was a true pleasure to continue performing classical and popular tunes as the harpist for The Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast, CA from 2009 – 2013.
I very much enjoy teaching private harp lessons and have students of all ages. I believe that a strong technical foundation allows students to pursue their dreams more fully, and it is so rewarding to be part of their growth as musicians and performers.
I have taught harp professionally at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), and for three years, I taught harp at the UK’s renowned Sage Gateshead Centre for the Performing Arts, known as the British national centre of excellence in music education. During this time, I prepared students for the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music examinations.
